Beginning March 19, 2008 MOPS/Teen MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meetings will begin!  The meetings will be held every Wednesday night starting at 6PM at The Master’s Baptist Church.  The group will address the special needs of parenting children from babies to 5 years old in a Christian based environment.  The group will feature a variety of speakers that will be addressing topics such as completing your education, finding childcare, Infant and Toddler CPR/First-aid, career planning and best of all we will be having fun learning to cook, doing crafts, scrapbooking and supporting each other.  MOPS groups provide caring, accepting atmosphere for today’s moms and we will have a special emphasis on teen moms. In these informal sessions, moms will have the opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity, and hear instruction that equips her for the responsibilities of motherhood.
